About Us
Second Chance Foundation(SCF) is a Ugandan Community Based Organisation(CBO) operating in Northern Uganda with its office in Gulu City. Its registered with the Department of Gender and Social Development in Gulu City Council (GSDR) as a CBO. SCF envisions a world where young mothers are empowered to thrive through Skills and Knowledge. Our target age group is 16 to 22 years. This is possible through our focus on 4 these thematic areas all geared towards empowering the young mothers.

In- school peer mentorship
As part of our impact amplification and sustainability, we offer consultancy services in the form of continuous capacity building trainings to Community Based Organisations and community groups, we implement for and on behalf of other organisations that work in our thematic areas. These trainings range from Organisation Development, Capacity building for teams, board and corporate governance, strategic management, leadership for impact and Life Skills training, VSLA ad Business training.
Empowering young women and girls is not only the right thing to do, it is the smart thing to do. When women and girls are empowered, they can help lift their families and communities out of poverty.
